Over the years I have heard the same comment from many different people when they see our DeLorean with a Stainless Steel frame, "That's how it should have been done when the car was made."

If you own a DeLorean you must make sure your frame is in good condition to avoid potentially hazardous problems when operating your DeLorean. Visit the check for rust page for some tips on checking your frame. In addition to creating the PermaFrame out of Stainless Steel, we have incorporated significant improvements to the design of the chassis that will appeal to those owners wishing to improve the performance of the DeLorean. Visit the improvements page for a list of items which include increased strength, new trailing arms and mountings, better handling, and removable sections for easy replacement in the event of damage.

The FAQs page has been created to answer the common questions we have received about the PermaFrame. For a look at the PermaFrame be sure to visit the pictures page.

2002 was an eventful year for Pearce Design Components. As we have posted in the past, in January 2002 we purchased enough Stainless Steel supplies to produce ten PermaFrames. Since that time we have sold our original inventory and are working on a second batch of material.

If you have interest in a PermaFrame for your DeLorean, please let us know by one of the methods listed on the contact page. We will base our future product plans on the needs of the DeLorean community.
